About the robot

First non-Lego bot I’ve ever made.

500g of steel, lead and quartz. Its task is to push the opponent out from the ring (dohyo). Because there was no place to fit convenient buttons, I’ve used the 4 distance meters as virtual “buttons” to flip program bits for setting initial state of the AI.

Custom, home made SMD PCB in a bent-steel case. Ran on home made silicon mix tires driven by overvoltaged DC motors.

It was participating in national and international tournaments for ~3 years, with constant improvements to hardware and software.

The only part of this robot that stayed original was the frame and the lead glued under it.
